More about pet costumes…
Here’s a great idea. If your children are dressing for Halloween, why not co-ordinate what they are wearing with your pet? If your child is dressing as Batman, for instance, you’ll be able to find a corresponding Robin outfit. Or if you are hosting a Star Wars party, you could dress as Darth Vader, and your pooch could impress your guests when they see Anakin’s son, Luke Skywalker parade into the crowd!
The same is true if you have more than one pet. For your party, your loving canine could masquerade as Superman, while your fancy feline could portray WonderWoman – Super Powers united! Your family and guests will be doubly impressed! Other ideas would be to match the costumes. A hilarious idea is to dress different breeds in similar costumes. Your German Shepard and Schnauzer could both be dressed as Bumble Bees! You can tell all your friends that since they act like twins, you decided to dress them as twins.

A word of advice. Take the time to measure your pet and get the right costume. They probably aren’t use to wearing clothing (unless your Chihuahua is constantly freezing and you live in colder weather – so you always have a sweater your pet) so properly fitting attire is really important. They won’t fuss as much and you won’t find them trying to undress halfway through your party!
And remember, a pet costume isn’t just for Halloween. There are many fashions right for all seasons. You’ll find appropriate attire for Christmas, New Years, Easter, and patriotic holidays. The possibilities really are limitless for any pet – no matter it’s how big or small.
Thank you for coming by!
Oh man I love these costumes, each year they just get better and better. I think this year i’m going to get the yoda outfit for my jack Russell. Last year I got him a superman cape but he ripped it up. Cool site
I absolutely love the pooch dressed as Dorothy in the blue gingham dress, this is hillarious. Great site by the way.
I love the pirate costume. I’m going to a halloween party as Jack Sparrow this year, now I have seen that I think i’m going to take my dog with me.
Those 2 dogs in the video are so NOT impressed! They look cute though. I’d love to dress my black lab up for Halloween, but he’s so hyper, I don’t think any costume would stay on for long! I guess I’ll just have to be satisfied with a Halloween bandana round his neck again this year. Nice selection of costumes here, I like the pirate one best.

If our pets could talk, what you do think they would tell us about wearing costumes?? Love it? Hate it?
LOL LOL that video is tooo funny! They are depressed you dressed them up in those costumes! They didn’t move! I don’t think my dogs have ever sat that long in one place! That is great! I’m sending this to a few friends!
Dog costumes are cool; for Halloween that is. Of course Halloween is a day for everyone to have fun and dress up and that yoda costume is classic!
But I need to mention I’m personally not a fan of those people who continuously dress up their dogs. It’s to fooofooish (is that a word?) for me =)
All and all, thanks for providing users a one stop website for dog costumes.
That Bulldog with the hook is loving that look! What a great touch the parrot on the hat is. You have a great blog here – best of luck with everything!:D
I would definitely agree that it’s important to measure your dog carefully before making any purchases. It seems that you would want to make sure that your dog is very comfortable so the first thought in their mind won’t be to get out of their new costume.
Ooo these are great – I’ve just been looking at some toddler wonder woman costumes, but the doggie wonder woman is definitely the best. Girl power is great!
For a boy it’s got to be the Yoda dog costume though, that’s my absolute favorite – I mean what do wouldn’t want to be a Jedi master
